Business Administration/Customer Service Tutor/Assessor

Our client is urgently  looking to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Business Administration/Customer Service Tutor/Assessor
To deliver on the level 4 programmes.

Salary £24260 – £26627per annum  

Attainment:

The position requires an experienced Teacher/Assessor with knowledge and understanding of the educational and support needs of learners

Experience:

  • Experience of devising individual learning plans
  • Experience of devising and carrying out assessments for vocational qualifications
  • Experience of working in and teaching/training in Business Administration qualifications
  • Experience of devising schemes of work and lesson plans that embed Functional Skills
  • Experience of producing course reviews, evaluation reports and self assessments
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of mentoring and tutoring at Higher Education programmes on own initiative
  • Experience of developing and delivering Higher Education programmes on own initiative
  • Experience of working as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration/Customer Service qualification (preferable)
  • DTTLS, QTS, Cert Ed or PGCE or equivalent (desirable) or working towards (essential)
  • Assessor Award or equivalent
  • Functional skills Level 2 English, Maths and ICT or equivalent. (Preferable)

Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge and grounding in the subject
  • IV and EV processes
  • Awareness and understanding of Equality and Diversity issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of the educational and support needs of students

Skills & Abilities:

Vocationally/occupationally competent in Business Administration and Customer Service

  • Passion for working with young people
  •  Ability to identify individual learner needs
  • Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners
  • Ability to identify and help learners to overcome potential barriers to progress and achieve
  • Ability to devise comprehensive schemes of work and lessons plans that embed Functional Skills, British Values and Prevent
  • Ability to design and deliver appropriate training
  • Ability to use key Microsoft Office packages including Word and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and produce review and evaluation reports
  • Ability to plan assessments and to support learners with individual learning plans.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to plan, review and evaluate assessment methods using appropriate criteria and methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on matters relating to course delivery, including the production of written reports.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and meet deadlines.
