Maze8 in the community

We are involved in a number of community projects and volunteering programmes:

Huddersfield Town Partner

Maze8 is proud to support our local football team – we’ve become one of one hundred club partners to Huddersfield Town FC. Being a club partner gives us opportunities to network with other local businesses for mutually beneficial business opportunities. Members are based across Yorkshire and further afield and enjoy publicity via the club’s social media platforms #huddersfieldhundred.  Find out more about Huddersfield Town Football Club.

Sponsor: College Outstanding Learner Success (COLS) awards

Kirklees College designed the COLS Awards to recognise the exceptional achievement or major progress students make at Kirklees College. Students who have excelled or made significant improvements over the year and have overcome adversity in order to do so are nominated for a number of awards. One of our strengths as a business is our ability to seek out and place staff who can provide valuable support to these young people.  Find out more about COLS.

Newham College Shining Stars

Newham College, together with the Learning Revolution Trust, get young people into education who could ordinarily not access this due to barriers.  The Shining Stars awards then recognises exceptional achievement of these students. Maze8 have worked alongside these partners for some years and present an award each year to the winning student in our chosen category (last year it was Work Ready Student of the Year).  We help the Learning Revolution Trust raise funds so they can provide more bursaries for more disadvantaged students such as asylum seekers, teenage parents etc.  Find out more about last years winners

Friends of Mirfield

Martyn Connell (Managing Director, Maze8) established Friends of Mirfield in 2015 to help maintain the quality of the open spaces in Mirfield as budgets were squeezed within the Local Authorities.
They regularly gather volunteers from across Mirfield to help with projects such as strimming and mowing a local park, clearing up and mowing a local cemetery and planting a community orchard.  Join the Friends of Mirfield facebook page.
