Our client provides industrial automation services across a range of sectors, including food and beverage processing, manufacturing, water and wastewater treatment, hospitality, waste recycling, airports, and energy management. Due to expansion, they are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified industrial electrician, primarily to work within the water and wastewater sector of the business.

 

General Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings across the U.K.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients and offer solutions and advice
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems in various industrial settings
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of electrical work performed and maintain inventory of electrical equipment and supplies.

 

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 18th edition
  • 2391 inspection and testing
  • ECS gold card
  • Willingness to work away
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Water hygiene background would be desirable
