School Careers Adviser

We are seeking a School Careers Adviser within the Hillingdon area.

Currently a temp position until Easter 2025 and 1 day a week.

£20 per hour umbrella, PAYE available
Immediate start
DBS within 12 months or on the update service

Open to consider a Level 4 qualified Careers Adviser with school experience, however a Level 6 Careers Adviser is preferred

Role: 
Produce tailored careers information, advice and guidance to meet the needs of young people including vulnerable groups and those with special educations needs and disabilities (SEND), taking part in reviews and contributing to the education health and care plans as required.
Produce action plans and record information where appropriate.
Plan and deliver small/large group sessions/events on a range of careers-related topics

Experience Essential:
Will have worked with young people preferably in a school setting
Will have worked in a collaborate team setting and built/maintained effective relationships
Will have experience in CIAG in any setting

Skills Essential:
Effective communication skills including written and verbal and be able to relate to a wide range of people and organisations
